Starcraft 2 How To
Terran Strategy Guide

Hey Jim here! Let’s get down to some Terrific Terran warring Strategies!

This quick terran guide will provide you with some very quick basics and tips for getting started with terran.

Terran can be deployed quickly as their mobile buildings can be moved fairly easily.

Marines are an immense beginning unit as they provide you with the ability to attack air units as well having the battle cruiser which is a fantastic end game unit. The marines are the perfect Terran asset.

The best start for a terran is to look at using their infantry massively, they have very strong infantry being made of the marine, when upgraded can take down air units in mass.

They also have the powerful marauder which can upgrade their shells to slow down enemy units, they require a high amount of micro but they can take on zerglings and zealots by slowing them down.

The terran have loads of strategies you can try out. You can use a medivac and constantly channel healing on your infantry whilst using stim packs to increase your fire power.

Take your medivac which you can get from the starport and equip it with marines and marauders

Get round their Rear

Then get round the rear of your opponents base and place a medivac on their minerals and destroy their SCVs. Now get them back into the medivac and scoot on out of there to avoid an cavalary.

Note: This will save your troops from excess damage!

You’re going to want to consistently produce SCVs so your Macro-management goes is sky high.

This a fairly simple terran as they have great build orders. Using the orbital command you’ll be able to use MULES to improve your minerals or produce more supplies on your supply depots.. To learn single player techniques click here: How to play offline – Starcraft 2

Here are my top tips for playing terran.
- Constantly Build SCVs
- Start off with Marines and Marauders
- Try to get to three barracks pumping units
-  Use orbital command early to get an economic advantage using MULEs
- Wall your ramp to keep yourself safe from early attacks

Playing against zerg the most difficult stage is getting passed the initial zergling rush, if they do not rush then you can wall your ramp in, harass with reapers and potentially hellions and try to get the advantage on your enemy.

This will help to slowly creep in front of your enemy economy wise and then strike down with a superior force upon their door step, be careful against banelings as they can destroy your infantry.

Similarly protoss are as effective against terran. Wall your ramp, but rushing them and attacking before their air units come into play will be an absolute must against protoss

I hope you enjoyed this guide and we will be providing you with more quick guides in the future.

Yours,

Jim!
